Personal Project Not Affiliated with NHM
The Natural History Museum is dedicated to the study, preservation, and education of the natural sciences.
I challenged myself to make the museum feel more fun, engaging, and contemporary, encouraging visitors to interact with science rather than simply observe it. In my research, I discovered that younger generations often see museums as passive environments, so I aimed to transform NHM into an active learning experience — one that sparks curiosity and creativity through color, texture, and interactivity.
Brand Mission:
A fun and expressive rebrand would make NHM more appealing to younger demographics by making science feel exciting, hands-on, and accessible. Bright colors, interactive elements, and playful messaging can create an atmosphere of excitement, drawing in both children and young adults.
Logo:
The redesigned NHM logo evolves from the original mark into a bold, modular 'N' composed of vibrant geometric shapes—each representing a dynamic perspective of nature. It connects past and future, reflecting how visitors explore the museum through different windows of discovery.

Using different shapes to create geometric repetition — inspired by the shape of the Earth — to represent the interconnectedness of life and the idea that all forms of nature relate to one another.

Square Twist Brochure
The square twist brochure became a moment of interaction and discovery. I challenged myself to create a tactile, nontraditional format inspired by NHM’s architectural grid. The folding structure invites users to physically “unfold” new information — reflecting the museum’s theme of exploration.
Dimensions:
5″x5″ (Fold Up)
10″x10″ (Open)
Designing it helped me explore how physical movement can reinforce conceptual storytelling.
Spatial Design
Social MediaExtended the visual system into digital environments to test its adaptabil
ity and motion potential.
Web Design
The website focused on the user journey, designing an experience that feels exploratory and intuitive. My goal was to make information discovery feel like part of the adventure.
Define MomentIn 12 weeks, I developed this project and realized that design can make education feel like play. I learned that I’m most engaged when transforming complex subjects into experiences that are emotionally resonant and visually exciting. This project showcased my strengths in strategic storytelling and systems thinking, as well as my passion for creating brands that inspire curiosity and joy.
